This was such a fun paper! Super cool work on how yet another neuronal chemical histamine - chemicals you associate with cell-cell signaling at the surface - can also make it all the way inside the cell to its DNA, regulate the genome and directly impact sleep behavior!!

Nonpartisan factoid: 60% indirect cost on an NIH grant means 37.5% overhead, not 60%. 0.6 / 1.6 = 0.375. How much is necessary? Above my pay grade and will vary between institutions. But the misperception highlighted above is hurting potentially constructive dialogue.
