While I was at Balticon, I met up with the publisher of Fantastic Books, Ian Randal Strock who was kind enough to let me read an advance copy of The Mossbringer by Ron Kaiser. I’m really digging this modern, fast-paced take on magic-driven fantasy.

One of the things I love about my French publisher, Gallimard is the fabulous covers they create. This one, titled “Maudite” in French but in English was published as “Way of the Argosi” looks absolutely amazing to me. What do you think?

When Spellslinger was about to be launched, my publishers created a special version for advance reader copy featuring this beautifully designed cover. These are collector’s items now. Sometimes, going a little bit of extra effort to make something special is worth it.
