#Protect child rights in Ghana Today as I drove along the Airways flat road from Kisseiman, I noticed significant number of children less than 8 years old walking to school with younger siblings. I had to stop to console a 2yr old who fell and was left behind by a 6yr old sister

The question I asked myself was, "When will Ghana start enforcing child rights especially in cases of child neglect"? When do we start holding parents accountable for child safety? Can we open a desk within DOVVSU for negligent parents to be reported & apprehended? It's scary!

Drop Public University Bill (@dropthe_pub) 's Twitter Profile Photo

The 'revised' PUB maintains Executive dominance of public universities: The President still appoints the Chancellor of a public university; has majority representation on the University Council; nominates the chair of Council; and can dissolve the Council at will. Dangerous!

To end violence against women and girls, we must tackle the root causes of gender inequality and work for women's socio-economic empowerment. In what ways do you personally commit to ending violence against women and girls in your community? #PreventGBV #EndVAW
