Last night’s new bottle was Deer Sound Blended Scotch Whisky from DeernessDistillery. 40% ABV and very drinkable. Looking forward to the day when I can try a dram of their single malt.

We were in Orkney in June of 2024 and brought back some DeernessDistillery Vara and Scuttled. We’ve been waiting for our long winter to start before opening. It started in earnest last week and WOW was it worth the wait…I REALLY hope for USA distribution someday. orkney.com
