As @profhrs said, NE England is highest rate of drug misuse deaths of any English region for 9th consecutive year (7.7 per 100k). Worst in Hartlepool (17.7), Middlesbrough (17.5) & Darlington (12.2) Drug death public health crisis is a NATIONAL matter, not just for Scotland.
