The children had the opportunity to visit Lidl to look for new plants for our allotment, they looked at lots of flowers, plants and mini fruit trees, the children decided to buy a little plum and apple tree. Early Years NLC deirdre grogan


The children were amazed to see how well their plants were growing in the poly tunnel, the children noticed the beetroot sticking up through the soil, we took a little bit out to investigate a few children were keen to taste the beetroot Early Years NLC deirdre grogan


The children were really excited to discover it was time to harvest our beetroot and WOW what a great harvest. We carefully pulled them up from the soil before taking them back to nursery to wash them and trim the leaves. Well done to our gardeners.Early Years NLC deirdre grogan
