My husband has lost his dear Mum to Covid and some cruel heartless people are questioning if it’s a hoax or if she even had the virus as she was double vaccinated. Appalling.

I'll never understand why doctors must have mandatory training in Obstetrics delivering babies, but not in Palliative Care. By doing this, aren't we sending the message that we only value care for people at the start of life...and not at the end-of-life?

‘We’re all going to get COVID’ is not an excuse to abandon preventive policies. With precautions the incidence will take place over longer time period which reduces likelihood that health services will be overwhelmed

The position with RATs is a total mess: 1. Commonwealth govt (TGA) was late to approve 2. Commonwealth & states were late to think about how RATs should fit into a public health screening or testing regime, and still haven't done that adequately in my view

We are playing fire with this virus… I understand that the world wants to be done with the #COVID19 pandemic, but such intense circulation will lead to more variants. Even with current variants, deaths are far too high & totally unacceptable when we have tools to prevent them.
