Vibe coding with Comet - asked the browser agent to build me a simple (locally run) yt-dlp wrapper. It navigated to github, created the repo, wrote/committed/pushed the code. You can even make changes to your code from the sidecar, feels like an AI IDE lmao 😂

Just tried something wild… The Comet browser AI agent literally took over my FedEx customer support chat and handled everything for me—tracking my package, speaking with the live agent, and the whole deal. 🤯 Perplexity Comet Aravind Srinivas

I genuinely feel sorry for Brave. It's a great browser. It was such an improvement over Chrome, not least because of the ad blocking. But both have got nothing on Comet. Just made Comet my default for both personal and work. It's really excellent.

Perplexity just beat Google at UI. I’ve been beta testing Comet, perplexity’s new browser for a few days (thanks Tibor Blaho for the invite) And no surprise, Perplexity is the default search engine. But what really surprised me is they now show links BEFORE the AI answer (with

Perplexity Comet can automate any task in your browser This is the first time you REALLY have an AI agent working autonomously for you. Makes much more sense than n8n or Make. → Navigate websites → Click, type, scroll, etc. → No code only natural language You can delegate

Trying the incredible Comet browser for the first time. It helped me plan my transport to the airport during my work trip overseas. If you are traveling somewhere new, unsure how the transportation system works, Comet just made this so seamless.

I asked Comet, Claude with Cloud Connectors, and ChatGPT Agent to do the same research and upload its finding to Google Docs or Notion for me. Comet, without any special "connectors", just used my in-browser Notion session and created the research note in one take.

OK this is wild. I'm using Comet by Perplexity to automatically trawl through our products subreddit, reading top posts, clicking into them, reading the top comments, then returning this all as a JSON. I'll then be able to parse this for top positive and negative feedback!

New a16z podcast - it's the battle of the agentic browsers! 🥊 I tested Dia and Comet for a week, to see if either could dethrone Google Chrome. Who emerged as my "winner"? 👇

This is a game changer for me. The Perplexity Comet browser can automatically go through the YouTube upload wizard for me It's always so annoying to do that for every video. Now I can just tell it what to write.

there’s something cool about being able to work with comet. being in the loop and watching it work, being able to step in, it having easy access to your digital world perplexity cooked ngl.

AI agents are the future—but they're stuck with the infra of the past. Legacy infrastructure is blocking their full potential. We've raised a $21M Series A to unblock them. Here's exactly what agents really need to excel: ⚡ A computer they can quickly boot up 📁 Ability to
