#Breaking: Governor Katie Hobbs vetoes the bipartisan “Arizona Starter Homes Act” (HB2570) that would have limited the zoning authority of most of the state’s cities and towns.
For those keeping score: Governor Katie Hobbs latest veto (HB2570) adds to her record breaking pace. Only former Gov. Janet Napolitano rejected more legislation. Both governors are Democrats and both worked with GOP controlled Legislatures.
Democratic leaders in the State House issued the following about Rep. Jevin D. Hodge after new reporting revealed the lawmaker’s 2015 sexual encounter violated university conduct policies. (Full story below the statement h/t Mary Jo Pitzl)
