Cassie Ventura told Combs in a 2009 email that having "freak offs" was the next step in their relationship. But she also mentioned that she went back and forth about the idea and needed to trust him more to be sexually free.

Ventura also testified she was dating producer Ryan Leslie when she met Combs. She was three years into her relationship with Leslie when she went to Miami to see Combs, leading to the first time she and the defendant had intercourse, the witness admitted.
