I spent my morning with some local youth baseball and softball athletes from local Sheetz leagues at an on-field clinic at PNC Park. And a special shoutout to Oliver, who spent his birthday with us this morning!

I’m proud to support No Offseason Sports. No Offseason Sports hosted the Pirates NIKE RBI playoffs and the MLB NIKE RBI East Regional Tournament, which allowed RBI athletes the chance to compete on fully turfed fields within a world-class facility.

In honor of our Cancer Support Game today, I'm proud to support our pediatric cancer partner, Lending Hearts. Lending Hearts provides free emotional, social, & physical support to those living with cancer, especially children and young adults, and their families and caregivers.

We hosted our final Fantasy Camp of the season at the Miracle League of Southwestern Pennsylvania last weekend. It was a great year supporting all of our local Miracle Leagues and their athletes!

Happy 80th birthday greetings to Hall of Fame manager Jim Leyland. Leyland led the Pittsburgh Pirates to 3 straight N.L. East division championships (1990-92) and ranks third with 851 wins in a Pittsburgh uniform. He was inducted into both the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum ⚾ and the Pirates HOF in 2024.
