One week to go! In June 1989,  I organised an alldayer at the Sir George Robey in Finsbury Pk. This was the Guitar Gangsters first-ever gig. Come and celebrate 35 years later at the Water Rats with me as the compère for the evening.  wegottickets.com/event/608564/#

Yet another excellent Paul Talling walk, this time the River Tyburn all-dayer. Many verbal and physical diversions of course into the worlds of music & Minder. Mid-walk drink stop, Ye Grapes in Shepherd Market, end of walk session at The Grosvenor, very good company as usual.

Another pic of Battersea Power Station interior (during an illicit wander in 2007). Just digging out my old snaps ready for the new Up The Junction: Lost Rivers of Battersea walking tour with copious film, TV and music locations. And a few boozers too... #derelictlondon

Sept 2024. The final days of The Cricketers. I have great memories of gigs here. The story of this place can be found on my Insta page and Vol 1 of my London's Lost Music Venues book

Britt Paul Talling Paul is a great storyteller and character. Loves a bit of punk and does a tour on lost music venues which I have yet to go on. Nice small groups and you’ll invariably end up in a great pub at the end of the tour.

Y'day, 1 of Paul Talling's v fine walking tours. This time, 'Whitechapel & Bethnal Green'. Inevitable Kray references given the area, inevitable Minder reference given it's Paul. And of course derelict (and sometimes resuscitated) pubs and places of musical interest.
