Historical Theology 101: A Christian church, historically speaking, is one that fully affirms both the Apostles’ Creed & the Nicene Creed. Today I learned that many people aren’t aware of this. If an organization rejects either, it has historically not been considered Christian.

One of the quietest enemies of truth-telling is assumption. Critical thinkers separate what they know from what they suppose. Before speaking, pause and ask: Do I have evidence, or am I filling in the gaps with my own narrative? Truth is not strengthened by guesswork.
