A few weeks ago ethrex was the slowest execution client. The table show a benchmark measuring megagas per second. We're quickly accelerating! Let's go LambdaClass, great work team.

cool we just did a 2x in the sstore of ethrex! we got to test it with all the benchmarks and syncing but it seems we’re doing great progress

We just bumped ethrex ETH transfers from 500megagas/second to 1gigagas/second. Next week the PR should be merged. We're still behind nethermind and reth but we should catch them up in the next few weeks.

We are finishing the work on making snap sync performant in ethrex. We got the block header download logic working, tested on Holesky, Sepolia, and Ethereum mainnet. It takes 5 to 8 min on mainnet (22M headers, 12GB in-memory). Geth takes aprox 20min (but writes to

There’s still quite a bit of work ahead, but progress is strong in the performance front. We’re already outperforming every client except for reth in every opcode (we still need to merge a few exploratory PRs to make it faster than nethermind in transfers). In addition to

One of the few things that were missing in Lambdaworks was GKR. We implemented almost everything for learning purposes. We need to finish Circle STARKs and then we will make the library as fast as possible and comfy for engineers and researchers to use it.

Amazing work by LambdaClass engineering team. ethrex has successfully snap synced and then kept up correctly updating Hoodi for the last 6 hours and now we almost got Sepolia working. Tomorrow we will test and sync with Ethereum mainnet!
