In 2016, the Nigerian Senate passed a bill to make JAMB results valid for 3 years. 9 years later, it was NEVER implemented. Every year, over 1 million poor students are forced to pay again and again for the same exam — because someone benefits from their suffering. They don’t

This poor student is dead because of our decrepit health system. Ideally an ambulance should have been called, the ambulance would put him on a heart monitor, the monitor would have likely helped detect a dangerous heart rhythm. The paramedics would have shocked his heart back

I just finished watching the video. I honestly want to thank you for taking the time to put together such a detailed and thoughtful video, even when you clearly didn’t have to. Like I’ve always said, you don’t owe anybody an explanation, so the fact that you went out of your way

Millet is an extremely important crop - and hasn't received the same research attention as other food crops. Are we waiting for Bill Gates to fund research in it, so we can start running our mouths - content with mediocre agriculture ministers who just "distribute fertilizer"?

Agree 100% - but IITA and NRCRI are both in Nigeria and they are key to the Cassava Value Chain. This might be different for other crops - but the way forward is to insist on better funding for local agricultural research institutions. That should be the focus.

Don't drop out of college to start or work for a startup. There will be other (and probably better) startup opportunities, but you can't get your college years back.

You see ehn, the GMO debate has exposed a troubling level of ignorance and intellectual laziness. Instead of engaging with scientific facts and global consensus from bodies like the WHO and FAO, many people are clinging to conspiracy theories, half-baked WhatsApp broadcasts, and
