Always a joy to see Víkingur Ólafsson performing live. He has this way of making old favourites sound like they were written this morning: never more so than with his take on Beethoven’s ‘Emperor’, with the brilliant Royal Northern Sinfonia and Dinis Sousa here The Glasshouse International Centre for Music for #ABO2025.
