How more beautiful can the start of a new year be! Sharing with all the great news that our beloved PI, our mentor and guide, Dr. T.N.Narayanan Narayanan Tharangattu Narayanan has been awarded the prestigious Materials Research Society of India (MRSI) medal. We are so proud of you!

Fresh paper online! Our recent work on MoS2-FG heterostructure photodetector with strain-tunability and ultra stability is now published online in ACS Publications Appl. Electron. Mater. Cheers all! DIPAK MAITY Rahul sharma Narayanan Tharangattu Narayanan Krishna Rani Sahoo doi.org/10.1021/acsael…

Success party!! :D When we went for a group dinner to celebrate the recent papers of Dipak DIPAK MAITY and Nandita Nandita Mohandas. Eagerly waiting for more and more parties to come! :P

Just published in IOPscience J. Phys. Condens. Matter! Here we studied the electronic and optical properties of Se & V co-doped MoS2 monolayers After an year of multiple revisions, seeing our paper published is pure bliss! Kudos DIPAK MAITY & others👏 doi.org/10.1088/1361-6…

Many congratulations to our own Dipak Maity DIPAK MAITY on your achievement! He bagged the Best Poster Presentation Award by presenting his recent work on strain tunable & ultrastable MoS2-FG heterostructure photodetector published in ACS Appl. Electron. Mater. Party time!🥳

Congratulations to Dipak Maity (graduate student Materials & Interface Engineering @ TNN's Lab ) on receiving the Best Poster Award at the Annual International Conference on 'Recent Progress in Graphene and 2D Materials Research' held in Bengaluru (Nov 20-23, 2023).

First success party in the new year 2024!! 🥳 Thank you Preeti, Rayantan Sadhukhan🇮🇳 and Arya for the party to celebrate their recent publications. Let this be a beginning for a lot more parties to come this year. Happy New Year wishes dear fellows! 🤩😃

I am a researcher, as well as a mentor. A healthy & pleasant atmosphere in the lab is always my top-most priority. We have frequent lab dinners/lunches, as a part of success or farewell parties, & during festivals. Sharing here some recent such rememberable moments. Materials & Interface Engineering @ TNN's Lab

Fresh paper off the press! 📢 Our recent work reports the tunability of valley polarization of Transition Metal Dichalcogenide(TMD) monolayers by selective doping. Good work DIPAK MAITY Narayanan Tharangattu Narayanan 👏 Now available to read in Physical Review Materials doi.org/10.1103/PhysRe…

Congratulations to Dipak Maity on receiving the Dr. K. V. Rao Scientific Society Award (Research Award in Physics, Silver Medal). Following Shubhadeep Pal (2016-17) and Pallavi Thakur (2020-21), Dipak becomes the third grad student from Materials & Interface Engineering @ TNN's Lab to receive this commendation.

Happy to share with all another interesting work from our lab on doping of monolayer MoS2 towards metal like 2D materials, one of the first works in the area. The work is now published in American Physical Society Physical Review Materials journals.aps.org/prmaterials/pd… Awesome work DIPAK MAITY & others!👏🥳

1/2 Excited to share our recent work now online, available to read in Wiley SmallMethods doi.org/10.1002/smtd.2…, where we report the bottlenecks with the realisation of 2D materials based next generation electronic devices. TIFR Hyderabad DIPAK MAITY

Dipak Maity (grad student Materials & Interface Engineering @ TNN's Lab) won the first prize in 'Saransh-2024, Category: Physical and Mathematical Sciences'. In this competition (organised by Indian National Young Academy of Sciences (INYAS)), Dipak presented his work on MoS2 as a next-generation transistor. Many congratulations!
