"Deadwyler’s forceful energy fills the frame; through her rigid stature and her cleareyed speech, she lends power and humor to this lovingly stern mother." 🔥

Critic Christopher Lloyd says #40Acres is a haunting and action-packed post-apocalyptic tale starring Danielle Deadwyler as the stern leader of survivor family struggling to keep her clan together and people-eaters away. #moviereview filmyap.substack.com/p/40-acres

#40Acres is a very intense and effective post-apocalyptic thriller as well as a surprisingly engaging family drama. Danielle Deadwyler is fantastic as always and Kataem O'Connor is a standout. Definitely the better of the two Deadwyler led genre films this year.
