Our new paper is out! The production and management of victim testimony is one reason the ICC is a fascinating and crucial institution to study from the perspective of language, interaction, and discourse.

On the train back from The Hague, where I finally saw the court behind the transcripts! This after presenting at my first (live) conference, which happened to be #SS24Ghent. A week overflowing with things learned.

Took a much needed mental health day after a year + of gogogo. A close friend happened to ask if, on the offest-of-off chances, I had a day off to go to @JklTaidemuseo. Happy, happy coincidence! They had a great exhibit going. Just what I needed 😁

Great 2nd day of #alapp22 - presented a work-in-progress with @fferrazalmeida and got excellent feedback - though I think the highlight was the engaging plenary by Rodney Jones - the GDPR cookie notification analysis put a methodology to my experience! Almost cathartic 😂

Finally on holiday in the vast-ish New England expanse where I grew up.

I grew up around horses, and being around them now always feels like going home. Yesterday, I got to hang out with my cousin and her beautiful Quarter Horse, Atlas. Back in Finland on Tuesday (where my horse time/access is sorely limited).
