Shaun Lintern Interesting- will be fascinating to see the data linking these two. The converse would be to suggest “reducing the focus on safety will improve patient experience…..” I guess if we all chose to not wear seatbelts & drive at whatever speed we wanted the vast majority of drivers

It’s time to hang up the uniform after nearly 32 years; today is my last day in the Royal Navy. I joined the Royal Navy to see the world and I’ve certainly done that 1/

RFK Jr. went on national TV and spouted egregious, dangerous falsehoods about vaccines. As a parent and infectious diseases doctor, I couldn't stay silent. Fox News might not fact-check him, but I will. I've reviewed the trials. I've catalogued them. I have receipts. 🧵

This is a travesty and a nightmare. The US was a founder of @Gavi. It lowers vaccine costs for the world, has vaccinated 1B children, and averted 19M deaths. This pull out will cost 100s of thousands of children's lives a year -- and RFK Jr will be personally responsible.

Sam Ghali, M.D. Good case Vallecular cysts, masses & lingual tonsils are very challenging. Overall I agree that an awake FONA is likely to be the best option here. A few comments 1 ‘clinical correlation required’. The history is all. Chronicity, recency & extent of stridor, & best breathing
