While walking home from Bolton Town Centre last week, I decided to go along Darley Street, the route I would take to Brownlow Fold Secondary School in the 1960s. I remember the Mill seemed to be operating 24 hours a day!

I have posted this photo before and have done a number of re-edits! I think this is possibly the last edit! Preparing for a charity balloon release on Victoria Square at the Bolton Festival, August 1983

I woke up yesterday morning to this view from my van of Newgate Beach, St Davids, West Wales. I then moved on to Fishguard, Lower Town, where I took a snap of the SUN LOVER sculpture by John Cleal 1929-2007. All pics taken with my Galaxy Smarphone.

I enjoyed walking around Bolton Town Centre this morning in the spring sunshine. I've always liked Nelsons Square and today it was stunning, Le Mans Crescent looked great except for it being used as a car park! I have mixed feelings about Churchgate!

Last night, I was in the Photography Gallery at Oriel Colwyn, North Wales, for a talk given by documentary photographer and novelist Anne Worthington. Anne gave the audience insight into the way she works and communicates with her subjects while showing her amazing photographs.

Is the guy with the beard Bolton FM presenter Brad B Wood? I took the photo back in 2016 just after I arrived in Manchester at the Deansgate Rail Station. What attracted me to take the picture was all the foliage growing, I think it may have been planted to combat car pollution!

A great listen on Desert Island Discs today with Carol Klein (Gardeners' World). I liked the railings on Doffcocker Lodge story and loved the 'in the bath with John Lennon' experience! I’ve lived in Bolton all my life and grew up on Johnson Fold Estate, not far from the lodge

I was walking around Robin Hood's Bay this morning, before 6am. I thought I had the whole place to myself until this chap passed me. We exchanged a few comments on the weather and where we had travelled from, and then went our separate ways. Galaxy M31s

I was sitting on Victoria Square, Bolton, UK, in the 1970s, when I got chatting to a lady. I mentioned that all of the square was reflected in her sunglasses! I asked if I could take a photograph, and she said, 'I don’t mind,' mentioning that she was blind. Maybe I overedited !!!

I've decided to do a re-edit of the previous post photo as I thought it was a bit OTT. It was edited that way a few years ago. I have had a folder on my desktop entitled RE-EDITS for quite a while now!

I decided to re-edit a photo taken on Wood Street, Bolton, England, in the early 1980s. It was part of a day of celebrations of the oldest non-political socialist club in the UK! #britishculturearchive #caferoyalbooks #socialhistory #filmphotography #streetphotographersfdn
