Thanks to our staff and students for another successful Fire Drill! It was a bit cold outside but fortunately, our drill was completed in less than 3 minutes.

Congratulations to the Shelton u11 basketball team for their accomplishments this past weekend! Many of the players are PHS students and they were able to bring home the championship in overtime. Teamwork! Well done student-athletes! #BetterTogether

Due to the timing of the storm and potential icing, the Shelton Public Schools will be closed today, Tuesday, January 16, 2024.

After consulting with City officials and the weather reports, due to the icy conditions, the Shelton Public Schools will be on a two-hour delay opening on Wednesday, January 17th.

Buses are running late this morning. Please take your time driving. Students will not be penalized if they are tardy today. Drive safe.

Great day for our Grade 6 students at Quassy! Thanks to the PHS staff, Mrs. Catone, and Ms. Crosby for making this happen. And most importantly, our students had a great time!!

Field Day 2024 is underway at PHS beginning with our Grade 5 students. Thanks to Mr. G and company for putting this together and to all of our parent volunteers! We have an amazing learning community at PHS!

First Grade 5 Field Trip since 2019!!! So excited to see our students board buses to head to Old Sturbridge Village for the day. It’ll be an amazing experience for them to see what rural New England life was like in the late 1700s.
