I’m encouraged by the large D1 coach turnouts at the Live Period AAU tournaments this year Glad to see that they still have appetite for high level rising frosh
after wading through the thousands of upperclassmen in the portal
That’s got to be exhausting Meanwhile, the

Congrats to Fairfield Men’s Basketball and Chris Casey for the 2025 signing coups that they keep racking up. I have watched Benjamin be the best player on the floor multiple times while competing amongst HM recruits recruitthebronx.com/index.php/pros
St. Thomas More Basketball builds them right...

In my experience, the two overwhelming characteristics of being a successful coach are (not one's resume as a player!!!) 1. The ability to learn, and 2. The ability to teach Sam Rubinstein checks both of those boxes... i.e, if he were a publicly traded stock, I'd be

I've been waiting for Declan Griffiths to pop ... He has an absolutely mesmerizing ability to make shots It becomes too hard to keep that a secret for long...

If you earn the chance to wear a BABCℱ and a NEPSAC Class AAA St. Thomas More Basketball jersey, and make em proud while doing so... Your DM traffic tends to get rather heavy.... Congrats!

Gotta say I was whining too much about the colleges being buried in transfer portal prospects about 2 ago...was going to bury the rising frosh's chances at being recruited. The top-of-the-pile kids like the ones below are reeling in offers after this month's Live Period. Whew!

Every college guard prospect that I ever had heard from me re "Jump-Stop Magic" = scholarship offer ... until their ears bled. The fact that, after sticking the two footed landing, you get to also then: 1. pump fake, and/or 2. pivot and/or 3. take another step Is so

True. But I'm worried about Chris Casey ... He's gonna have to hire some good attorneys... to defend himself against grand theft charges ... on this and a couple of other of his 2025 steals. đŸ’Ș

At some point, Harvard Business School is gonna grab CATSAcademy head coach Cary Herer to teach a seminar on Program Building. Wow, What a job he has done, from the ground up and with surging improvement from year-to-year!!! And now it looks like he's bringing in a Victor

Its not really a mystery why the high level prep players fare so well as freshmen in college ball. There's no substitute for having to develop a set of finishing skills that can work against full, college-sized rim defenders... Look at what NEPSAC Class AA CATSAcademy puts

The irony is that many college coaches tell me that this is one of the things that they dislike about so much AAU ball... They run very sophisticated team schemes on offense and defense in college ball... which can be imploded by players that can't absorb that level of coaching.
