I’m watching a Capitol Fourth on PBS and it has a pretty big crowd, lots of spectators sitting on the steps of the US Capitol. Sadly, I can’t get the image of insurrectionists storming that building on January 6. It’s a permanent stain I can’t remove from my mind.
