Enjoying my (PBL) work with The Cooper School this week. They call themselves progressive yet they recognize the value of phonics instruction, reading classics, very little tech/screens, and an intentional balance of explicit instruction, guided inquiry, and collaboration. ❤️

Good to see Stephen Miller fighting the real enemy: Libertarians and other people who want govt to reduce the size of debt and who believe in due process, both of which are vital to preserving our country.

Teachers showing their work and planning for PBL with their peers for critique and feedback for the quality can be powerful. This morning The Cooper School teachers are doing just that using the qualitative guiding language from our rubric and workshop.

Conflating conspiracy thinking with critical thinking is intellectually lazy. I wonder what Robin has to gain from convincing the rest of us of this conflation? 😎

Sometimes, the most effective and efficient way to teach is to "just tell them". Like using Google Maps to navigate to destinations. But how many people lack deep understanding of directions and how to navigate where they live because they've relied too heavily on Google Maps?
