Music=culture=people. There is no separating music from culture & social context. Music doesn't occur in a vacuum and it's also not just notes on a page. To not teach the full context of music to our students is a disservice to them, ourselves, and our society. #MusicEducation

Unless we change our funding formula, next year Millard WILL receive ANOTHER cut in state funding. It will be the 4th year in a ROW that Millard will lose state funding. This is why we need a teacher representing us in the Legislature. To make sure this gets fixed.
