So excited that this has been published and very proud to have been involved with such a wonderful group of people. Check it out - as Lucette says, hope it is helpful for your COVID-19 patients and research

Katherine Sewell challenging why routine depression screening is NOT recommended in Stroke Foundation clinical guidelines at #OPSYRISAU2021 given high prevalence and low detection rates. Check out the paper here. onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.5694/mj…

Rebecca El-Helou talks about the Kalmer trial of relaxation for stroke survivors with anxiety. What a fabulous codesigned approach - loving the consumer engagement!! #OPSYRISAU2021

I've been looking forward to this one - so relevant to those of us working in hospital and inpatient settings. And always great to hear @Lee_Cubis talk! #OPSYRISAU2021

Thanks The Age for highlighting this issue. We need to unblock the training bottleneck so undergrad psychology students can access postgrad specialist training to enter the workforce 1/3 theage.com.au/politics/feder…

Demand for clin neuropsych services already outstrips clinician supply. This will become more of a problem as our population ages. Our clinical, health, ed/dev psychologist colleagues are in the same boat. Please support better funding to protect psychology training program 3/3

The super persuasive Dana Wong - laugh-out-loud moment 1 at #ASSBI2022, reminding us that tech is all well and good but it relies on the skilled, therapeutic relationship for success. I vote Sarah Connor 😉

So privileged to hear Bruce Power's story and message to give people the gift if time and show generosity. Asking 'how are you?' instead of showing judgement goes a long way! #ASSBI2022 #TBI

Do not ignore unusual or weird findings. Do not take labels at face values. Excellent advice for all clinicians and possibly for life in general. Thanks Olivier Piguet. For an outstanding, entertaining, real world relevant presidential address #ASSBI2022

This. There are health workforce shortages across the board but psychology is an area that we could do more to mitigate those shortages and build a sustainable, future fit workforce
