Loved watching my guy Jack Woda 2026 do his thing yesterday in a big rivalry game for O'Connell Baseball As good a defensive + offensive catcher as you’ll see. Didn’t get to see my guy Drew Markey pitch but I’ll be back to do that. Higher academic colleges need to jump on Markey!

Boys did that thang today. Mingo Bay Classic Champions!!! . Winning the Division 1 pool going 4-0 then today beating the Division 2 champions, Audubon HS 9-5 . Drew Markey was electric on the bump for a CG! . Knights improve to 19-4 on the season! Back in action on Monday!

Season wrapped up earlier than we hoped but thankful to my O'Connell Baseball teammates for a great season under the leadership of Chris Berset . Ended the season pitching 49.1 innings, going 7-0 and 2 for 2 in save opportunities. Finished with 66% strikes, 45 Ks, and an ERA of 1.98.

Thankful for the invitation to participate in the H3 showcases this Tuesday and Wednesday. I appreciate the opportunity to pitch in this event. Jeff Burton
