WORK ZONE SPEED CAMERAS‼️: The state’s first work zone speed camera is now operating along I-5 near JBLM. The first offense is a warning, but additional offenses will cost drivers $248. Washington State DOT says they plan to have 6 cameras operational statewide by the summer:

NEW: Governor Bob Ferguson says latest tax proposals from #waleg is "unsustainable, too risky and fails to adequately prepare Washington state for the crisis that looms ahead." Gov. says federal cuts could make deficit worse, he'll work with budget writers.


With just over 60 hours remaining in the session, Governor Bob Ferguson says he's "cautiously optimistic" #waleg can get him a balanced budget by midnight Sunday. Would not say if he would sign a gas tax hike or a bill giving striking union workers unemployment benefits.

UPDATE: Thurston Co. sheriff says the FBI arrested the man accused of shooting at a deputy last week. According to Thurston Co. Sheriff, their suspect was pulled over with his mother in the car near the California/Nevada border.
