So. First holiday for 3 years. So excited. Vaccines ✅Booster ✅ 😱 Kids' vaccination records are incorrect. Website tells me to contact Health Board who give me an (incorrect) email address to contact. Automated reply says they need 15 working days to update a digital record.

This really resonates with me, especially in the context of IWD: Men conventionally dig the holes and women weave the tapestries. Is the same true of doctors? Digging holes and weaving tapestries: two approaches to the clinical encounter pmj.bmj.com/content/96/113…

If you're a doctor or medical student in Wales, let us know the pressures you're facing, so we can fight for better. One doctor told us they don't have time to sit down or even have a drink. What are your experiences? #MedTwitter RT Let us know 👇 bit.ly/3AfcyMy

Ok So I'm a GP. I'm having a conversation with an anaesthetist. Can someone tell us why you wear theatre caps in theatre? Then, the next question is, does a Hijab do the same job? And what about those who wear their own "personal" washable theatre caps? What is their purpose?

IT’S HARD TO SPEAK TO A GP The problem is there are not enough GPs 2000 fewer than 2015 8000 short of what is needed One GP per 2200 patients GPs average 40 appts a day (safe levels are 25) NO GP WANTS THIS FOR THEIR PATIENTS #GPCrisis Blame MPs not GPs

When they can't measure what's important, they make the measurable important. How do you measure vibrance, passion and committment? You can't. So Ofsted instead measure record keeping. I, for one, want my children to dance to school again. They haven't. Not for a long, long time.

This innovative course will certainly help to widen access to medicine - there is a lot of evidence that doctors are more likely to practice in areas where they have had positive learning experiences. Well done Prof Edwards! Heidi Phillips🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 @TheMindful_Doc
