Our first #DrDeaf in Brazil! 80+ deaf academics- most Brazilians but also a total of 6 Latin American countries present for workshops on PhD work, writing, and publishing.

The WFD President gave a presentation at Copels in Brazil. Over 800 participants attended the congress on Linguistics & Translation and Sign Languages. It was also an opportunity to meet the President of Feneis, the national association of the deaf and our Ordinary Member. 🇧🇷
