What a sad day, foreign secretary had to protect his account because he and his daughter were receiving hate. Not from Pak but our own "nationalists" . The man was just doing his job and following orders from the Govt. And he did that with professionalism

I’m shocked, saddened, appalled and angered that a real life hero for over three decades,Vikram Misri, is forced to lock his X handle because of unacceptable trolling. We all know who these trolls are. Reign these anti-nationals in, Narendra Modi. Amit Shah. If you don’t, the

It is absolutely disgusting to see the trolls target Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri and his family. He has been a picture of professionalism - calm, composed, measured and articulate. But that’s not enough for the bloodlust of a section of our society. Shameful!

Vikram Misri was India’s Envoy to China during the Galwan crisis. Brokered key strategic deal with China. As Ambassador to Spain, helped finalize the India-EU FTA. Paved the way for India's diplomatic presence in Myanmar. Attacks on him are shameful. Nation is PROUD of him🇮🇳

I have no idea why trolls are attacking Vikram Misri and, even worse, his family. I think he is an outstanding officer and we are lucky to have him as Foreign Secretary. I also thought his briefings were excellent, to the point and clear. This is abhorrent.

Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri has done his duty impeccably. There is absolutely no reason for anyone to feel malice towards him. He has only conveyed the message that the political leadership of India has taken. Instead of social media platforms every Indian deserves to witness

“Trolls with no stakes attacking a lifelong diplomat at a critical time for India’s global stance—disgraceful. Glad to see institutions standing up for Vikram Misri . Some criticism isn’t dissent, it’s noise.”

I get Ben Stokes being angry for India not accepting an early end, but not sure why English commentators are crying so much. That aside, well done Jadeja and Sundar! Another game in 3 days, bit of gamesmanship! Let the Pom’s be angry and upset! #INDvsEND
