Dementia Associated With Hearing Loss. Hearing and dementia tracked in 2,946 people over eight years. Hearing loss by audiometry accounted for 32 percent of new dementia cases. 🚨Specialist memory clinic initiated lecanemab treatment in 234 patients over 14 months. The frequency of significant adverse events, including ARIA, was manageable. Large South Korean study reports Shingles vaccination associated with a 23% reduction in cardiovascular events over 8 years in people aged 50+.
