GRC Frontal Cortex exceeded all of my expectations and has set the bar incredibly high for the next GRC I attend! I loved learning from and getting to know so many inspiring scientists and left with a list of analyses and experiments to try (and more importantly many new friends!) 🧠

Cummings lab had an amazing time at the Frontal Cortex GRS/GRC 🧠! We met so many brilliant scientists, learned a TON, and Rodrigo Campos-Cardoso, Brianna Fitzgerald, Hunter Franks, and Zephyr Desa represented the lab with 4 exciting posters and 2 outstanding talks 📈🎤

Back home supercharged after a wonderful week at the GRC Frontal Cortex and GRS. Thank you chairs Shansky Lab @DavidEMoorman Shana Silverstein Julia Mitchell, PhD for everything. And a big thanks to everyone for the amazing science, conversations and all the fun!

Hands down GRC Frontal Cortex ‘24 was the best conference I’ve ever been part of. My inaugural GRS co-chair Julia Mitchell, PhD doing this along side me, Dr Becca, PhD 🐘 and @DavidEMoorman for a diverse/inclusive GRC, but THE TRAINEES - the scientific future is dazzling because of our community🫶🧠

What a fantastic week at GRC Frontal Cortex and GRS. It was amazing to meet so many new science friends and learn about their newest research and ideas. Thank you Julia Mitchell, PhD Shana Silverstein Dr Becca, PhD 🐘 @DavidEMoorman for making it all possible.

I'm thrilled to announce that I've been awarded the NARSAD Young Investigator Grant from BBRFoundation! I am grateful for this incredible opportunity and can’t wait to embark on this exciting journey!

Shana Silverstein Julia Mitchell, PhD Thanks for being a role model and of course for the opportunity for the GRS you are the real rockstarrrssss 🤘👩🎤

“Scientists must collectively advocate for reforms to how science is funded, who is funded, how governments define intellectual property regimes, and how scientists are incentivized,” argue @paimadhu and Ṣẹ̀yẹ Abímbọ́lá in a new #ScienceEditorial. scim.ag/80E

OK times are wild - officially Dr. Mitchell as of yesterday 🥲 extremely happy + proud, and so grateful + thankful for the mentorship and support from Shansky Lab & all the members of the lab whom I couldn’t have done this without! 🥰

So proud of Julia Mitchell, PhD for transcending into doctorhood! Your resilience and beautiful brain are inspiring and I’m so grateful to bear witness to a small piece of your journey. Big, wonderful things are ahead for you 🔥🌟
