Big wins for Track & Field at the Bishop Loughlin Games! Jack Higgins won the 2 mile and placed 3rd in the mile. Patrick Mulryan won the 1000 meter run. Michael Touma placed 4th in the 600. Georgios Stergiopoulos won the freshman shot put by breaking a meet record from 1979.

Last evening the Track & Field Team competed in Boston at the New Balance Grand Prix for the George T. Eastment Trophy in a CHSAA 4x800 relay. Reef Kirchner ’24, John Higgins ’23, Patrick Mulryan ’23, and Michael Touma ’23 set a time of 7:51.92, placing them at US#1. Go Flyers!

Rising sophomore Georgios Stergiopoulos continues his successful career in throwing. He placed 7th at the Panhellenic Under-18 Championships in Greece in the 5kg shot put. He later competed in Korea at the International Children's Games at Daegu University, where he won the 5kg

Over 60 rising seniors are in the STRC this morning with representatives from the Guidance Department to begin their Common Applications. Another session will take place next week.
