V excited to join the other panelists to reflect on Forest Research experience leading the European Forest Institute (EFI) NWF #FOSPREF Wind project at next week's EFI annual conference. Watch these short summary videos to discover what the projects have achieved so far efi.int/membership/ben…

Wonderful opening talk by Marc Palahí for European Forest Institute (EFI) 2020 annual conference online. What a pleasure to be able to contribute to today's discussion as Forest Research panelist, discussing the #FOSPREF Wind EFI NWF project.

Hear more about forests and carbon by joining this seminar by Dr James Morison, senior scientist of Forest Research Climate Change #climatechange #carbon #forest #carbonsequestration #fluxes #greenhouse #GHG g

Looking forward to chairing the FOSPREF-Wind webinar panel next week, alongside my Forest Research colleague @DrGeorgeXenakis and our European project partners. Very topical issues following the recent damage from #StormArwen and the arrival of #StormDudley and #StormEunice

Looking forward to hearing from our partners Kristina Blennow NEIKER IBL Instituto Superior de Agronomia and Latvian Forest Research Institute 'SILAVA' about climate-smart growth modelling, wind damage risk modelling, & perception of climate change impacts at this European Forest Institute (EFI) webinar!

Most of the merit for how good the video is belongs to the brilliant Archie Crofton . Thank you Archie for all your inputs and patience to accommodate our "sciencey" requests. Hope to work with you again in the future. Do consider me as your +1 for any award ceremonies for the video!

Thank you Bruce Nicoll for representing Forest Research at the SUPERB Innovation Lab and for sharing the experience and knowledge of our project partners Forestry and Land Scotland with their activities at the demo site in Queen Elizabeth Forest Park in Scotland

A very complex and important site for Scotland. Inspirational to see Forest Research decision support tools such as ESC and ForestGALES providing help to manage our forests in these challenging conditions!

Fantastic couple of days at the Forest Research IUFRO workshop on development + applications of ForestGALES/fgr wind risk model - exciting discussions inspired by great talks from wind risk experts including Chris Quine, Institut Européen de la Forêt Cultivée Barry Gardiner, @MorganeMerlin1 & more!

Wonderful day out in Queen Elizabeth Forest Park with Forest Research and Forestry and Land Scotland showing our SUPERB European colleagues the Scottish CCF, Natural Flood Management, riparian woodland, and high-elevation forest restoration demo sites. Only a few midges were about!

Another Wind & Trees workshop organised by our IUFRO working unit following last year's successful ForestGALES/fgr workshop hosted at Forest Research. This exciting event will be hosted by Prof Skip Van Bloem at Clemson University and will focus on wind impacts on coastal forests
