An interesting article, but please NB the well-known difference between "Islamic" and "islamist." Ditto her article for BBC News (World) today. Her contrasting between "Islamic Sharia law" and "French/Ottoman civil code" is highly disingenuous since Ottoman law was based on #Sharia!
