Did you know binturong are among animals who are being exploited to make the world’s most expensive coffee? Civet coffee, known as kopi luwak, is coffee predigested and pooped out by civets. The civet species are sadly caged and force fed coffee in horrendous conditions.

🖤 Enrichment for Niffler Keeper Amber saw an enrichment design at another zoo and thought it would be perfect for our binturong Niffler! Our estate team worked their magic and built it, so let’s see what Niffler thinks of it.

Drusillas welcomed its first animals in 1925: a kinkajou, a kangaroo, a chimp named Tarzan, and a lemur called Georgina. 100 years later, we still care for lemurs, that’s why they’re in our logo! ❤

FARM UPDATE We’re transforming our farm area into a brand new space where your little ones can explore a fun hands-on experience. As part of this development, we decided to close our farm and find new homes for all our animals. Closure will come into effect on 28th February
