A new Euro-Mediterranean tree-ring reconstruction of the winter NAO since 910 C.E. by Ed Cook et al. The reconstruction, the longest annually resolved one available, behaves like a ‘white noise’ process & suggests the winter NAO is stochastically forced. link.springer.com/article/10.100…
