🎉 Join me in celebrating my University of Aberdeen colleague Abbe Brown on her recent election to the Royal Society of Edinburgh ! 🌟 Congratulations to all the newly elected fellows! 🎉 Aberdeen law professor elected to the Royal Society of Edinburgh abdn.ac.uk/news/24227/ via University of Aberdeen

Enjoyed amazing three days of brilliant science at Stem Cell Models of Neurodegeneration Conference 2025 #SCMND by UK Dementia Research Institute . Congratulations Bowles Lab for organizing such a wonderful meeting. Wonderful plenary talks by Dr Sonia Gandhi, Mahmoud Bukar Maina PhD FRSA and Sergiu P. Pasca

Including an interesting panel discussion on advantages and limitations of existing iPSC models Eunchai Kang. It appears, however, that there are many outstanding questions in the organoid field that require further discussions and consensus in the field.

Muhammad Zaman Khan Assir Thank you so much for your kind words! I am truly grateful. It’s been a journey shaped by collaboration, challenges, and a shared commitment to making science more inclusive. I am equally looking forward to learning from and working alongside inspiring scientists like you!

I have an exciting fully funded 4 year PhD studentship available in my lab from October 2025 at Cardiff UKDRI. If you are/know someone interested in iPSC, genetics and Alzheimer's disease please take a look and/or share widely. UK Dementia Research Institute Research at ARUK findaphd.com/phds/project/d…
