Dr RP Pandey I need to study this more but it seems there are two issues: 1. The parent institutions appear to be reluctant to absorb them 2. Other institutions demur, saying absorption is the job of the parent institution. I could stand corrected on either or both these points.

If this is factually correct, then it makes a mockery of the whole INSPIRE effort. Can someone in DST please establish verifiable reasons for absorption or non-absorption of its INSPIRE fellows? This is now becoming a moral responsibility for all of us. x.com/Inspire4941011…

Gautam R. Desiraju🇮🇳 Sir, Thank you for your concern. The situation is same for all IFs. In my case, the host inst. just gave a casual excuse of unavailability of sanctioned positions. They may generate positions to take their favored candidates but ignore us even though we performed excellently.
