Although we do not agree on every issue, I was glad to have the opportunity to speak with and have lunch with Governor Mike Kehoe at his residence this afternoon. He was extremely gracious.

A few minutes ago, I filed a bill to eliminate State sales tax on groceries for 3 years. Hard working everyday Missourians need a break with rising food costs. It’s time for solutions not rhetoric.

The crowd was with me when I spoke at the plaza in KC at the rally for concerned citizens. The message was simple, push back against the reckless Trump firings that are hurting Missourians. Demand that certain electeds stop hiding under their beds and come out and listen to you.

Congressman Alford, Look at all the people in front of your office. They want to hear from you. And you are still hiding. They want to know why you are not pushing back on Elon Musk’s damaging policies. Yes, they are angry. Come out and do your job.

It’s time to stand up for our democracy. The crowds are getting bigger!

Congressman Alford, Come out, come out, wherever you are! The people were at your office today and you were nowhere to be found. Hiding isn’t leadership Congressman. The people want to know why you are not pushing back against tyranny and the destruction of democracy.

My heart goes out to the beautiful young couple that was murdered last night in DC. Political violence should have no place in our nation.

I was glad to have the opportunity to sit down and speak with Congressman Alford this afternoon. We talked through several issues. I respect the fact that he sat down with me for a conversation. This was a good first step for our State.
