February 11th is the feast of our local saint Gobnait … the sixth century woman associated with Ballyvourney and her care for the sick. Patron of beekeepers … I’m biased but the image of Saint Gobnait by Harry Clarke in the Honan Chapel is beyond beautiful.

UCC Chaplaincy was delighted to host students from Islamic Society, Jewish Society and Christian Union last evening as a ā€˜Faith and Friendship’ event. Collaborating on what unites us as people of different faiths is inspiring.
