Professor Peter de Lange (Unitec) has worked with GlobalTreeAssessment to produce IUCN Red List assessments for the indigenous trees of Aotearoa | New Zealand based on their New Zealand Threat Classification System status.

GlobalTreeAssessment worked with assessors in Mexico to evaluate endemic and near endemic tree species for the IUCN Red List, finding nearly 60% of those assessed are threatened. Information on conservation actions for over 260 tree species has been added to the Conservation Action Tracker.
