Florence Post 1 takes on the Florence Flamingos tonight in an exhibition game, 7:00 at Carolina Bank Stadium. Fans are reminded that CBS is a cashless facility for both entry and concessions.

Florence Post 1 - 8 Florence Flamingos - 7 Post 1 jumps out to 8-2 lead and holds on for the win over the Flamingos of the collegiate Coastal Plains League. Post 1 is back home tomorrow night 7:30 against Excelsior, MN in the opening game of the Palmetto Legion tournament.

Asheville, NC 10 Florence 6 Down 6-5, Asheville rallies for 5 runs in the 7th to win the day 1 matchup in the Southeast Regional. Florence now faces Caguas, Puerto Rico tomorrow morning at 9:30 in an elimination game.

Weather continues to be an issue here as a steady rain is still coming down all morning like yesterday. Our game has been pushed to 11:00 now.

A game that was scheduled to start at 9:30 am yesterday, ended at 7:00 pm. Weather didn’t cooperate. 4 trips back and forth from hotel to field. Cold, wet and tired. Proud of the guys for staying focused all day where they easily could have made excuses.
