Helaas kan ik niet (want 🤧) bij de presentatie v/d mooie #autisme #AWA projecten zijn. Maar wat hebben we samen met NVA PAS Nederland en vele anderen door nauwe samenwerking de afgelopen jaren mooie dingen bereikt! Hopelijk krijgt het 'n mooi vervolg 🤞

Yesterday TulsiR defended her thesis on heterogeneity in autistic adults aged 30 to 92 years. She focused on quality of life, experienced cognitive challenges, & experienced mental health difficulties. Part of the VICI project NWO Funding. So it is now Dr. Radhoe!

Yesterday Ilona Schouwenaars of HAN University of Applied Sciences (HAN) succesfully defended her PhD thesis. She co-created a sleep intervention fod autistic teens. Designed together w. autistic teens, special education teachers who needed to deliver the intervention, parents, clinicians etc. So again a new Dr!

Yesterday Carolien Torenvliet defended her thesis on #autism & #aging. She did an amazing job & her inclusion of autistic adults, her embracement of open science , solid research methods & more was considered excellent. Great to welcome another Doctor with amazing skills!

Voor iedereen die #autistisch is en 55+ (man, vrouw, anders) of juist met autistische #ouderen werkt...jullie input zal de kern vormen van dit nog te schrijven boek dus hoe meer input hoe beter 🙏
