E3P has recently completed a complex site investigation at a large quarry site. The site investigation forms part of a redevelopment and peat restoration project and required multiple phases of investigation, that included working from floating pontoons. #e3ponsite

Great crested newt season is here. Our eagle eyed ecologists spotted some on a night time torch survey last night. As you can see, they are well camouflaged!

Just renewed our Accreditation. E3P continually push to protect our team and all we interact with, accreditation is one small step on that road.

At E3P we integrate our systems to map every scheme we are part of across all departments. Having this database gives us extensive knowledge of the geology, the environmental setting and an awareness of the particular challenges in the regions in which we work.

E3P Acoustics captured an unexpected moment whilst on site today. These curious cows were either eager to inspect our equipment, wanted to falsify results or start a backing band! Proving once again, in the world of noise and vibration, no one day is ever the same!

We have been running an internal training session for our ecologists this afternoon on the use of cameras and infrared lights when completing nocturnal bat surveys. The next session will be out in the field, and we are looking forward to sharing some footage in the coming weeks.

Another two vibration monitors have been installed this week to monitor vibration levels in and around residential dwellings during construction or remedial works. We use cloud based real-time monitoring to stay informed of real-time vibration levels on and around site. #e3p

Our ecologists have been moving slow worms out of harms way this week. A lot of people think these are snakes, but they are 1 of 3 native lizard species we have in the UK. 🪱
