The CleanerSeasGroup™️ has opened the world’s first #microplastic recycling facility in Bude, turning 86 tonnes of fibres a year into new materials. While we must cut plastic at the source, innovations like this are vital for tackling the #pollution already in our #ocean.

#Microplastics aren’t just in ocean - they’re in soil too. A study found sewage sludge use on farmland increased soil microplastics by 1,450% in 4 years, with particles lasting over two decades. With no current regulations, urgent action is needed to protect soil and food safety.
