Aphasia is loss of language, not intellect, and it's so heartbreaking to see that no one understands what this is. I do believe that a person with aphasia could serve as a US senator. And it's only been a few months, it will get better. Nobody understands.

Really interesting conversation about sleep differences in minoritized populations, which we know is an important consideration in aphasia rehabilitation too. Will be sure to examine racial, gender, and other differences in upcoming aphasia and sleep focused studies.
