Staff and students on the Essential Medical Statistics course in Oxford this week. (Some places for part-time study on our #ebm and #medicalstatistics MSc programmes still available - I don't know for how much longer: conted.ox.ac.uk/about/msc-in-e…) Thanks @patrickfahr for the photo!

Glad to see this. We agree - that's why our Oxford Postgrad: EBHC part-time MSc courses have distinct modules for Meta-Analysis and Systematic Reviews. (Not to mention the Complex Reviews module, &c.)

Despite the pandemic, students from all over the world have been coming to Oxford for Oxford Postgrad: EBHC courses. These pins are just the students on our #medicalstatistics courses, so far this academic year, not including online courses.

We're excited about the new academic year bringing us new MSc students. Study alongside them on one of our one-week intensive courses, or one of our part-time courses: or apply to join them on an MSc or Diploma course next year. Courses in #medicalstatistics and EBM and more

Students (and staff) in Oxford last week for the Essential Medical Statistics (conted.ox.ac.uk/courses/essent…) course. This week, studying remotely. Our postgraduate programme (Oxford Postgrad: EBHC ) blends face-to-face learning in Oxford with distance learning online. #medicalstatistics

FAO #Stata users: lovely upgrade to Stata's help system can now be installed, thanks to Chen & Lian, Stata Journal 24:161-168. DOI: 10.1177/1536867X241233676 I don't know what it says about Stata that I'm this happy about an upgrade to the help system.

You don't have to be a "statistician" on paper to be a good #statistics lecturer: you may have come from an #epidemiology, operations research, biochemistry or other background. Our senior statistician vacancy closes on Friday, shortlisting soon. phc.ox.ac.uk/about/work-wit…
